Challenge
Designing a haunted sound stage with platforming elements that feels both spacious and intimate.
Solution
We created an environment with three unique zones—Western, Graveyard, City, —and added an underground tunnel and rafters to enhance platforming.

Expanding the popular tag mechanic to add depth to gameplay.
Solution
We introduced various traps to catch pursuing zombies, including trees, manholes, falling anvils and lights, electrical boxes, glue, and animal traps.

Developing diverse zombie characters.
Solution
We themed zombies to match each zone, featuring Western figures, mafia hitmen, ghosts, and more. Additionally, a store allows players to purchase these character masks when they turn into zombies.

Lights, Camera, Zombies!? combines the thrill of tag with platforming and defense strategies in a unique movie sound stage setting. Players start together, dodging waves of zombies until they're turned, one by one. The environment features artificial scenery and matte backdrops, adding layers of strategic depth and visual intrigue to this fast-paced multiplayer game. The game was developed in Meta's Horizon Worlds, with support from Meta.
Results
Lights, Camera, Zombies! has been a standout success, consistently ranking as a top-performing world with players returning daily to compete as the last survivor before turning into a zombie. The game has frequently appeared in the highlighted worlds category and even secured a spot in Horizon Central, showcasing its popularity and appeal within the community.
