Well Played Studios created a full-body VR experience for A Quiet Place Part II, immersing fans and media into the film’s world, in collaboration with Paramount, Platinum Dunes, and ILM, which became a major attraction at the pop-up event in New York City.

Well Played Studios was commissioned by Paramount to create a full-body VR experience to promote A Quiet Place Part II. This immersive experience transported fans, media, and others into the world of the film. To ensure authenticity, the team collaborated closely with the film’s producers at Platinum Dunes, Paramount's marketing team, including its division president, and ILM. The VR experience served as a major attraction at the A Quiet Place Part II pop-up event, running for a week in New York City.

Results

The A Quiet Place VR experience ran for a week in New York City, immersing thousands of fans into the tense world of the film. Additionally, VIP demonstrations were held for 100 press members and influencers, allowing them a first-hand look at the technology and storytelling. Even the film’s cast experienced the VR immersion. Due to its overwhelming success and positive reception, Well Played Studios was invited to create a new VR experience for the upcoming 2024 sequel, A Quiet Place Day One.
